Trump reveals his ‘AI Czar’

WASHINGTON DC: US President Donald Trump has already announced his promised “AI Czar” to head a new effort to address widespread concerns about the impacts of artificial intelligence.

Mr Trump has also announced his decision to change the name of artificial intelligence to “American intelligence”.

At a news conference attended by the three accredited correspondents remaining in the White House press pool, Mr Trump introduced his new AI Czar as Rimidalv Nitup. (at left in main picture)

“I said just yesterday I’d appoint an AI Force headed by an AI Czar and I’ve done it already,” the President said.

“Not only that, but I’ve got a real czar – someone from Russia where the czars come from if you know your history as well as I do.

“You know, I’m an expert in history. Nobody knowns history like I do,” he said before continuing for almost two hours to expand on his self-assessed qualifications of himself as a noted historian.

Finally, the President returned to his newest appointment, lauding Mr Nitup.

“Rimidalv comes highly recommended by a certain someone I know very well who lives in Russia, in Moscow in fact,” he said.

“I was looking around to see who might head the new AI Force and I rang my very good pal in Moscow.

“I was actually happy to give him the head job but he declined and then offered me the name of Rimidalv Nitup so on that recommendation I made my decision and I’m sure I won’t regret it.”

Mr Trump said the executive order he had signed would change the term “artificial intelligence” to “American intelligence”.

“We need to ‘own’ AI otherwise Jina will own it and we can’t have that. History shows that I’m right on that.

“You know, I’m an expert in history. Nobody knowns history like I do,” he said before repeating for almost two hours the same self-assessed qualifications of himself as a noted historian he had delivered earlier.
