Birk explains policy settings

We should all be grateful that Home Affairs Minister Tony Burke cancelled his National Press Club address in early August to make sure that when he finally did appear, he’d nail perfectly the Albanese Government’s migration policy moving forward.

Your ranter-in-residence must confess that prior to that NPC event finally taking place yesterday, he had grave doubts that the minister, having spent those weeks sorting out internal party differences as to what that policy should contain, would bow to internal caucus pressure from polies fearing an orange tidal wave in 2028 and shift that immigration policy to the right to steal some of the LNP and One Nation’s racist thunder.

But the moment Burke stepped up to the lectern, I noticed the complete absence of a bright-red wig and burka that gave me immediate hope. As did this comment, shown at top and below.

Bravo, Tony Burke. That’ll put Anus Taylor and Aunty Pauline, national leader of the white indigenous One Nation people, well and truly in their place for blaming migrating no-good MUZZIES and other non-white heathens for the fact that much of Australia can’t have jobs they don’t want to do, can’t afford rents and have Buckley’s of ever buying a home.

And to strenghten that point, Burke twisted the political knife a bit more with this….

WHAT THE FUCK! Shit, maybe a six-week delay for the NPC address wasn’t anywhere near long enough for this birk to present a crystal-clear, logical, immigration policy that meets the needs of Australia rather than one nation in particular.
