Rank hypocrisy with nary a blush!

“STOP KILLING KIDS!” For several years now, that’s been my immediate shouted reaction whenever I read or hear Jewish leaders wringing their hands and lamenting the harsh reality that more and more Australians don’t particularly like them any more.

Or in my case, hate them – well, the Zionist ones – to the extent that each time I hear these people wailing about how society is now being so cruel to them, my mouth opens automatically and a tourette’s style “STOP KILLING KIDS!” gets flung at the newspaper I’m reading or the TV screen I’ve been watching. And yes, “YOU FUCKING CUNTS” often completes a six-word epithet so maybe I do have that neurodevelopmental disorder, at least to some fucking extent that some of you cunts would probably agree with.

But it’s my TV screen that copped the “STOP KILLING KIDS!” and my rubber brick this morning when I heard Alex Ryvchin, co-CEO of the Executive Council of Australian Jewry, tell ABC News Breakfast he hoped the royal commission into antisemitism, now in its final day of public hearings, would play its part in ending hate speech directed at the members of his faith.

Unable to track down video of that interview, I’m nevertheless fairly convinced not the faintest sign of a blush appeared on his face when he said that. Masking such hypocrisy like that is pretty amazing.

Ryvchin follows what’s commonly known as the Segal doctrine, namely that anyone who criticises anything Israel does in Gaza, the West Bank and Lebanon, the south especially, and elsewhere is an antisemite. And it’s clear that his mind is completely closed to the reality of what’s happening here and in the Middle East.

Does anyone know if Ryvchin has ever been critical of Benjamin Netanyahu’s oft-repeated declarations that there will never be a place for Palestinians in his vision of a Greater Israel What has he had to say about National Security minister Itamar Ben-Gvir’s hate-filled declaration that 40 or more Gazans should be killed every 24 hours. Or those images of him taunting Palestinian prisoners whom he wants to see hanged one by one. Mocking with his tongue poked out a young, bound, Palestinian who probably threw stones at Israeli settlers in the West Bank burning down his family home and for whom the gallows await. The very same Ben-Gvir telling a West Bank resident to leave his home or he’ll be dead in a few hours.

What says Ryvchin about recent statements by Israel’s Chief Rabbi David Yosef that Palestinians are not a people and have no rights. Rabbi Yosef has also claimed Gaza and occupied West Bank cities for Jews, and called for Gaza’s destruction and Jewish settlement. Hate speech doesn’t get much more hate-filled then that. And there are many clergy as rabid as he is.

Just a few days ago, NSW Supreme Court judge Desmond Fagan refused a NSW state government request for a terror order over a Sydney man convicted of writing “Fuk Israel” on cars and setting another vehicle alight in late 2024. Justice Fagan ruled that disparaging Israel was “political comment” not antisemitism. And that’s not rocket surgery, is it? Any decent, logical and thoughtful person around this troubled globe of ours would have no problem agreeing with that.

Alex Ryvchin would no doubt insist that a US poll earlier this year that showed 60 per cent of adult Americans now have a negative view of Israel – up 20 percent from four years ago – are worrying signs of growing antisemitism, when at the very least it should give us all hope that there are still plenty of Americans who are decent and honourable and Uncle Sam might survive Trump after all.

And when it comes to mixing thoroughly hateful words with thoroughly hateful actions, some chap called MK Zvi Sukkot of the Religious Zionist Party confirmed recently he had destroyed a monument in Kafr Madama near Nablus, that apparently honoured members of the al-Aqsa brigade and Palestinians killed in the intifada. Denial was probably not an option. (Memo subs: please check to see if this cunt pictured is the cunt I think it is)

“Every child who sees every day a giant monument that glorifies murderers of Jews will dream of being a terrorist,” Sukkot said in a post to X/Twitter.

And here’s the kicker where we’ll all start looking for his upcoming standup dates, times and venues around Tel Aviv: “There is no place for support of terror in the State of Israel!” he wrote. Priceless.

So while I restate my view that there’s not an antisemitic bone in my body, I hereby shout from the rafters: “FUK ISRAEL!” Or if you like “FUCK ISRAEL!” “FUCK BENJAMIN NETANYAHU!” FUCK BEN-GVIR!” “FUCK ZIONIST MEMBERS OF THE COUNCIL OF AUSTRALIAN JEWERY!” “FUCK ZIONISTS EVERYWHERE!”
“FUCK JILLIAN SEGAL!” “ON SECOND THOUGHTS, NO THANKS!”

And to anyone who can’t fathom Israel’s rapid decent from whatever grace it might have once garnered around the globe to now being its genocidal pariah….

STOP KILLING KIDS YOU FUCKING CUNTS!
