FBI hunts second DC shooting suspect

WASHINGTON DC: FBI Director, Kash Patel, (main picture) has released details of a second individual the agency is hunting following the weekend shooting incident at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner.

“The second suspect should not be approached as he is likely to be armed and dangerous,” Mr Patel told reporters while releasing an identikit composite of the wanted man. (below)

“I have arranged for ICE agents to join FBI agents in the national manhunt for this individual and I have given instructions to all of them that I want this individual taken alive, at least until ICE agents can then shoot him dead.”

Mr Patel thanked FBI and Secret Service agents for their response to the shooting at the Washington Hilton Hotel.

“I am told that Secret Service agents ran to the stage and physically sheltered the President and First Lady, forcing them to the floor under the top table before evacuating them both to the White House,” he said.

“I’m also told that the agents ordered the audience members to lie on the floor out of possible harm’s way…..”

Reporters interrupted Mr Patel to ask why he was recounting information that they already knew since most of them were at the dinner.

Mr Patel then admitted he did not see any of the chaos that broke out in the huge ballroom when shots were first heard outside.

“I was under the table before the President,” he said. “In fact I was under the table a good hour before the gunman ran through the foyer.”

An agitated Mr Patel then began to leave the briefing room as reporters asked what he was doing under the table.

He replied that he was having “an important meeting” with a “Mr Jonathan Walker” whom he described as “a close friend from Scotland”.
