Dutton walks backs war talk

Defence Minister Peter Dutton has softening his “we must prepare for war!” stance from earlier this morning after military big brass were quick to tell him most of the defence force’s dixies (pictured) were “Made in China” and that the Army especially desperately needed to reorder supplies for any future field exercises at home or abroad.

The Defence Department was also busy compiling for the minister a list of hundreds of other Q-store items that have for quite some years now been sourced from the People’s Republic of China to keep the nation’s defence budget manageable, a spokesperson said.
