The White House has finally revealed what President Donald Trump has been doing since his defeat at last week’s US election.
A White House spokesperson said far from “hiding” or “sulking” as some of the President’s opponents have claimed, Mr Trump has been busy planning his post-politics career.
“The President has accepted he is leaving office and is looking forward to returning to the business world where he has always thrived,” the spokesperson said.
“He has not been hiding from view. He has been spending almost all of his time putting in place a new business which he will kickstart after the swearing-in of the next president on 20 January.
“The President’s new venture will focus on meeting increasing market demands from American seniors and serving the growing aged-care sector.
“He is developing a range of goods and services for elderly Americans including mobility scooters (main picture) as well as adult diapers and home commodes (pictured).
“All of these devices and more will be marketed under the brand name ‘Sleepy Joe Biden by Trump’.
“The Trump name has always ensured business success – if you leave aside Trump University, several failed casinos, Trump Magazines, Trump Steaks, Trump Beverages, and Trump Airlines – so the new venture has success smeared all over it,” the spokesperson said.
