BRISBANE: NSW Premier Gladys Berejikian has been appointed to the Queensland Government’s re-election campaign committee.

“And if she keeps getting stuck into us over not reopening the Queensland/NSW border for a few more months, we’ll make her an honorary minister in the re-elected Palaszczuk government in October,” a delighted government spokesperson said.

“Life member of the Queensland Labor Party has already been bestowed on Peter Dutton for his efforts to date in getting us a new four-year term.”

CANBERRA: Rumours are swirling around the nation’s capital that almost the entire backbench of the Morrison government is revolting.

GOLD COAST: Controversial Queensland Senator Pauline Hanson is recovering well in the John Flynn Hospital here after she attempted to break through the COVID-19 roadblock at the Queensland/NSW border in a rented Hyundi iq-15 sedan.

Police were forced to fire a number of shots at Ms Hanson but luckily for her and her band of One Nation supporters they all struck her in the top half of her head.

BRISBANE: NSW Premier Gladys Berejikian has been appointed an honorary ambassador to Queensland Tourism for her ongoing attempts to allow the people of New South Wales to holiday in Queensland.

“It’s the very least we could do for our Glad who seems determined to let the people of NSW spend all the money they’ve saved up during the COVID-19 lockdown in the Sunshine State,” a board insider told The Bug.

“She knows they’d all rather come here anyway what with winter almost upon us.”
