Woman attacks UK PM’s car

British police are investigating an incident in which the official vehicle of UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson was vandalised by an apparently rich elderly woman.

London police have released a surveillance camera image of the woman they want to question about the incident (main picture).

Eyewitnesses told investigators that they saw a maroon Bentley pull up outside Mr Johnson’s private London resident where he had retreated from 10 Downing Street to escape media attention following the UK Supreme Court’s ruling scuttling his suspension of Parliament.

“A neighbour told local police the woman was very well dressed and gave all the appearances of being very wealthy,” a police spokesperson said.

“She alighted from her own upmarket and chauffeur-driven Bentley and approached the PM’s vehicle which she proceeded to vandalise.

“She then jumped back in her own car which sped off, but not before she spat on Mr Johnson’s vehicle and kicked one of its doors for good measure.”

Police said they had been following several leads and were planning to speak to a 93-year-old London woman later today about the incident.
