WASHINGTON DC: US President Donald Trump has confirmed he will continue funding Israel to the tune of US$4 billion (A$5.7 billion) a year regardless of the outcome of the mid-term elections.
Mr Trump made the pledge on election day in one of his regular live-to-air advertisements screened for free on the far-right-wing Murdoch media’s Fox News network’s Fox and Friends program. (main picture).
The President’s inexplicable naked appearance on the program was neither referred to nor questioned by any of his hosts.
“We were giving [Israel] $4 billion – we are – but it gets cut off at the end of the year,” Mr Trump lied.
The news was welcomed in Tel Aviv by Israel’s Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, (below) who is currently trying to form another genocidal coalition government following last week’s national elections.
“I welcome the President’s statement about cutting aid to Israel and look forward to the aid in the form of cash and unlimited military weapons to fund our genocidal and ethnic cleansing activities continuing against Palestinians endlessly into the future, no questions asked,” Mr Netanyahu said.
Mr Trump also used his Fox and Friends live advertisement to restate his efforts to help American families meet the cost of living.
He singled out his decision to directly assist family budgets by spending more than $15 million on renovating the Lincoln memorial reflecting pool on the Washington Mall.
“The pool repairs were damaged by vandals,” he lied.
“But now that they are finished they join other big projects I initiated that directly benefit American families – the Donald J Trump Golden Arch, the Donald J Trump Ballroom, the Donald J Trump Golden Oval Office, the Donald J Trump Concrete Rose Garden and the Donald J Trump Granite Helipad at the Donald J Trump White House, and the demolition… I mean renovation of the Donald J Trump Joan [sic] F Kennerly Centre for the Pornographic [siccer] Arts ,” he demented.
Mr Trump ended his live advertisement by returning to the reflecting pool project.
“As I have said before, I am not going to be renaming it the Donald J Trump Reflecting Pool after the mid-terms,” he lied.
