Our Xcrement-of-the-Week judges might understandably be getting a little pissed off by the recent decision by compilers of this column to go sniffing (which is very unwise) into their prize barrel for topics.
It does steal their thunderbox of virtual poo, admittedly, but they still get to use anything we steal from them come each Monday so really, guys: “What’s the problem?”
And the one we grabbed the other day was an xcremental offering from our favourite academic leftie, Dr Scott “It’s time to woke up people!” Burchill. We at The Bug hardly ever disagree – maybe never! – with his views on all sorts of wordly topics which, rightly or wrongly, makes us hope we might be at least as half as intelligent as he is. Okay, you smart-arse BUGgers out there …. a quarter as intelligent then!
Here’s the post…

Scott’s been opening his virtual bum bay doors on X quite a lot on the state of Australian politics, and this example from June attests..

Clearly Dr Burchill was not wrong back then, nor was his assessment on Thursday of a change in tactics by The Dirty Digger and his national loss-leading broadshit, The Australian, as to which political party deserved their support, as his next plopping of virtual poo yesterday (Saturday) proved.

As it bizarrely turned out, one of our BUG staffers had that very edition of The Oz land on his footpath yesterday morning and he’s yet to have it out with his local agent as to how that happened, and why his copy of The Best 100 centre-fold spreads of the Australian black-label edition of Penthouse 1985-91 still had not been delivered despite being ordered weeks ago.
But it at least gave him and our other BUG media-watch column compilers the chance to read the crap under the big photo of Frydenberg and we had to agree completely with Scott’s description of the Berg’s policy ideas as “unoriginal, pedestrian and uninspiring: another Liberal nothingburger”.
But as you can see from the banner above, MGH has been “pointing out the mistakes of others since 1989 so here goes.
For a cunt who became the world’s most powerful media baron in history and who supposedly boasts a great business mind, why does Rupert Murdoch constantly fuck up his attempts to control Australian politics to his own unethical, money-hungry, advantage.
Doctor Scott was spot on back in June; Newscorpse finally came to the realisation that the Liberal Party is in palliative care and Anus Taylor has as much chance of becoming prime minister in 2028 as the Wallabies had of winning last night’s Bledisloe clash at Eden Park in the Land of the Long List of Mispronounced Words.
But what a completely disastrous decision to take to think that Aunty Pauline’s white indigenous One Nation mob has any ideas for improving Australian society; insulting the big majority of Australians with that malarkey will only further damage the Newscorpse brand in this country.
And a switch to backing Josh Frydenberg, Australia’s second-top zionist politician – past or present or future – to Tim Wilson is equally stupid. If Aunty Pauline’s mob keeps riding high in the polls for the next 20 or so months until the next federal election – a highly unlikely scenario as her racism, stupidity and total lack of empathy for the battlers she claims to champion comes more and more under the spotlight – where does the Berg fit in?
If she does outpoll the Libs and the Nationals in a swag of seats, the once great party of Ming Menzies will be finally dead, buried and cremated so how the fuck is Frydenberg going to lead any conservative force out of the political wilderness, as Newscorpse now hopes. He’d have to find a winnable seat to start with. Maybe Timmy Wilson might step aside?
The one thing we at The Bug has never really understood; what is Rupe’s self-destructing obsession with, and hatred for, Labor governments?
If he still believes the highly debatable notion that his media empire can affect election outcomes, why not support the Albanese government? What harm could that do to any financial interest Rupert has in ensuring things such as Aukus going full-nuclear ahead? What is the possibility that a re-elected Albanese Zionist government might change tack and become a danger for any property plans he might have in place for New Southern Israel, currently still known as Gaza? Even if Labor wins and at some stage Albanese calls it a day, is there anyone in the Labor Ministry who might put an end to crawling up the shit-stained arse of Donald Trump or whoever next inhabits what’s left of the White House. V.D. Chance, anyone?
What’s the Yiddish word for nada … zilch .. zero?
