News editors of media outlets around the globe should face the rope for “their disgraceful, disgusting and shockingly antisemitic coverage of a mass funeral in Gaza”.
That’s the opinion of Australia’s special envoy combatting antisemitism in Australia, Jillian Segal who was responding to images of a mass funeral of more than 100 Palestinians reportedly killed in an Israel Defence Force bombing of their apartment complex three years ago. Their bodies have only just been dug out of the rubble in the Sabra district.
Segal was clearly close to tears and chanted “Oy Vey” over and over again between humming bits and pieces of Fiddler on the Roof songs as she handed to media a statement in which she called for the current Royal Commission into Antisemitism to be given the powers to order capital punishment for executives of Australian media who allowed the broadcasting of “such inflammatory and clearly antisemitic lies”.
“We can’t do anything about antisemitic news organisations around the world – the BBC, Reuters, The Guardian and many others – but local media executives pushing such antisemitic rubbish should see the end of a rope as soon as possible” Segal states in the media release.
“Israel’s defence forces are the most moral of any of the world’s militaries and there’s no way they would have killed so many innocent women and children without a very good reason.
“My best guess is that concrete bunker-proof facts will emerge soon enough as Israel begins the rebuilding of New South-West Israel (Gaza) that hundreds of highly trained terrorists with the most-advanced weapons in the world were hiding as snivelling cowards under these apartments, just as they have been throughout the Gaza Strip these past three-and-a-half years.
“The world’s Jews have been pilloried relentlessly down the ages and I’ve also got no doubt that if this alleged bombing doesn’t turn out to be a red flag-action by these animal low-lifes in a pathetic attempt to garner sympathy for their heathen ways, it will just show that Israel will always have the right to defend itself.
“Israel has only ever wanted to exist in harmony with our neighbours in pieces.”
