IPSWICH: Prominent white indigenous leader, Senator Aunty Pauline Hanson, has called for a referendum to alter Australia’s voting system to give her a bigger say in running the country.
Senator Aunty Pauline, leader of the crumbedprawn people of the chickensalt nation who have traded deepfrying oil in and around the Ipswich region for generations, said opinion polls justified her proposed changes.
“I am now clearly Australia’s preferred prime minister,” she said at a traditional salmon smoking ceremony this morning. (main picture)
“So I think the time is long overdue for me to have a voice to parliament to implement my policies.
“Basically if all the opinion polls put me as preferred prime minister then we need to do something about it and make sure I am PM – the very first white indigenous leader our one nation has ever had.
“I say a referendum should be held to do away with silly and wasteful elections and replace it with one that will recognise first preference peoples like me and my followers.”
Senator Aunty Pauline said her proposed new non-voting system would finally give long-overdue recognition to the traditional owners of the land.
“I and my peoples have repeatedly said we need to take our country back, and by that we mean we want our rights respected… I mean our Rights respected, which is what my new voting system will deliver,” she said.
“For instance, as prime minister one of my first tasks will be to rule on the many land claims lodged by my followers to return to them their backyards and Hills hoists that were taken from them Right across, … I mean right across Australia by that terribly divisive Mambo [sic] decision by the radical left-wing and unelected judges on the High Court,” she said.
