IPSWICH: One Nation leader, Senator Pauline Hanson, has again attempted to hitch her political bandwagon to the Socceroos’ campaign for the 2026 World Cup.
This week Senator Hanson cited the Socceroos as a prime example of the “monoculturalism” she promoted in her speech last week at the National Press Club where she rejected the concept of a multicultural Australia.
This morning when appearing at a World Cup watching party at a local soccer club near her Ipswich home, she again embraced the Socceroos to promote her party’s policies.
Alluding to the live telecast of the Socceroos-v-Paraguay match screening today at noon Australian eastern standard time, 11.30am in SA, and 10am in WA, Senator Hanson declared: “Any boss who sacks anyone for not turning up is actually well within their Rights, … I mean rights.” (main picture)
The One Nation leader went on to lambast transgender immigrants who did not speak English, believed in the net-zero “myth”, and were opposed to fossil fuels and nuclear energy.
She said she had always led by example, adding: “I try very hard to speak English every day of the week.”
At the conclusion of her speech she retrospectively announced she would not deliver a “welcome to country” [sic].
Senator Hanson then shed her green and gold jacket emblazoned with the words “Australia” and donned a burka before mingling with the crowd and repeatedly creeping up on people from behind and frightening them by screaming “Sharia law!”.
