In recent days the Brisbane bureau of News Crap Australia’s national broadshit The Australian has been producing a string of yarns questioning the implications for transparent decision-making posed by the close relationship between two ministers in the state’s LNP government.
Reporter Sarah Elks has written several stories about the two cabinet canoodlers and the possible impact their ministerial decisions have had when it comes to their decisions approving the spending of taxpayer funds on projects in each other’s electorates.
The above (main picture) was one that appeared recently and which ended with a plea/invitation to readers to send in more information about the two ministers if they had it. (below)

Our MGH teams think Sarah might be sitting by her inbox waiting, and waiting, and waiting for someone to send more info on the happy couple.

Last Saturday a Liberal Party candidate won a by-election for a seat the party had held until its previous MP quit the Victorian Parliament. (below)

Media coverage of the by-election was filled with frenzied speculation that the Libs might lose out to One Nation, but that didn’t eventuate.
Nevertheless, an ABC News Online story showed just how frenzied things have been with its reporter or its sub-editors, if they still have any, apparently so busy that they resisted actually typing a story and stood at the newsroom door and threw extra letters and punctation marks into the yarn. Like this….

.. and again like this …..

Luckily they did hit the mark a couple of times, like this …

Our MGH researchers end this report by noting the obvious – real estate agents are not journalists.
The obvious difference is that journalists are crusaders for truth while real estate agents generally deal in fiction to make big bucks for themselves and those paying them.
But our researchers could not resist including this little gem (below) from a Brisbane real estate listing for a home unit currently for sale.

They can only assume that the parking space in question is shared among the building’s residents and that those wishing to use it must fight it out.
