WAR IN GAZA:
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has ordered the Israeli Defence Force (IDF) to distribute new specially designed adhesive clothing patches in the wake of complaints about innocent Palestinians being shot dead while waving white flags.
His move follows reports that both the Geneva-based Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor and American news network CNN are investigating a total of nine such incidents since Israel’s war against Hamas in Gaza began. (below)

The incidents include the deaths in December of three Israeli hostages waving a white flag – the internationally recognised sign of surrender – who escaped after being taken and held by Hamas in its murderous 7 October raid.
Mr Netanyahu said he had ordered the IDF to begin air dropping the new clothing patches across Gaza together with leaflets advising Palestinians to stick the patches on their clothes rather than wave white flags.
“The patches are of a special circular and colourful design so our IDF marksmen can easily see them,” he said.
“They also glow in the dark so that our troops can easily pick them off…, I mean pick them up if they try to surrender at night.
“Our message to Palestinians in Gaza is that it will be a big help to the IDF if they wear the patches rather than wave white flags.
“I can guarantee that my initiative will put an end once and for all to complaints about Palestinians being shot dead while waving white flags,” Mr Netanyahu said.
