STANDUP COMEDY SENSATION:

When The Bug read Phillip Coorey’s analysis in The Australian Financial Review of Prime Minister Scott Morrison’s recent travels to Rome and Glasgow we immediately knew we had a naturally gifted comedian in our midst.

As soon as Phillip confirmed it was indeed all his own work, our immediate thought was: Dave Hughes, Jimeon, Carl Barron, Wil Anderson … WATCH YOUR BACKS!

Phillip agreed to try out his original material before a live audience and so The Bug booked a small theatre venue in Newtown in inner Sydney last night. What can we say? He was an absolute hoot.
