Sheridan trumps himself in latest show

Senior Righter with the Murdoch media’s national broadshit The Australian, foreign affairs editor Greg Sheridan, has made another foray into the live comedy game with a new set he premiered earlier this week at the Holt Street Bunker in Sydney’s Surry Hills.

Sheridan’s latest routine is built around his stream-of-unconsciousness review of US vice-President JD Vance’s new book Communion – a work of fiction blatantly aimed at burnishing the political credentials of the far-right unquestioning Trump fan (Vance that is, although the description aptly fits Sheridan too.) as a presidential candidate in 2028.

His sit-down act soon drew guffaws and at least one persistent heckler.
