WASHINGTON, DC: A white House insider claims US President Joe Biden is preparing to prank Donald Trump when he visits the White House for a briefing as President-elect next week following his election win.

A member of the White House cleaning and maintenance staff who did not wish to be identified said he had witnessed the President’s recent behaviour and had concluded that Mr Biden appeared to have already started practising the tricks he planned to pull on Mr Trump.

“I entered the Oval Office a few days ago to find the President totally naked (main picture),” the cleaner said.

“It was only later that I realised he had been practising a surprise for someone, and the only person I could think of as being his target was Mr Trump.

“The next day I again was cleaning the Oval Office which I thought was empty but then I found the President hiding behind the curtains.

“I only knew he was there when I was vacuuming the carpet and saw his shoes sticking out from under the bottom of the curtains.

“I was a bit shocked, but pulled back the curtains and found that he was fast asleep even thought he was standing up.”

The cleaner said Mr Biden suddenly woke up and declared “We finally beat Medicare!” before lapsing back into a deep slumber.

“The next day I was again rostered to clean the West Wing and found the floor in the President’s private bathroom off the Oval Office covered with urine.

“Although I couldn’t find any trace of clingwrap, I reckon he has been practising putting it over the toilet bowl to catch out Mr Trump when he visits.

“The following day the President entered the Oval Office while I was cleaning it and sat down at his desk.

“As he did there was a tremendously long and loud farting noise which I assumed was from a whoopee cushion he placed on the chair in preparation for the President-elect’s courtesy call.

“I really wish I could be there when Mr Trump visits. I think it will be so much fun,” the cleaner said.

However a spokesperson for Mr Biden told The Bug’s Washington DC bureau that the President had no plans to carry out any pranks on Mr Trump.

“I don’t know who you’ve been speaking to, but there has been no change in President Biden’s behaviour in recent days,” the spokesperson told our reporter.
