Southern Sister Resister etc, etc, (at top and below) was in the right place at the right time in that The Bug‘s Xcrement-of-the-Week judges were considering her X post just after they had viewed vision of Donald Trump at a rally boasting about how he was hotter than a pistol as a young man and perhaps even hotter when he was elected president.
Our judges are assuming it was real footage and not some AI creation but if you give Trump nothing else, he’s an entertainer and to be boasting like that as pictures emerged of him dancing with a 13-year-old girl at one of Jeffery Epstein’s private sex parties is head-shakingly, amazingly, audacious at the very least. The cunt’s got chutzpah if nothing else.

Let’s stick with American politics for a while, seeing poor senile old Joe Biden is being increasingly asked to step aside by senior members of his own party, and try to explain how worried they are of a Trump win in November.
Politic@l Spinner provided this amazing yet frightening meme on such a possibility. The world is in disbelief, indeed.

And Republicans against Trump gave us a hint at what unrest might await the US if Trump isn’t returned for a second term. Or even if he is?

Another Xer made the brilliant point that these clowns with their Stars and Stripes and Confederate flags are the very same people who opposed mask-wearing during the Covid-19 pandemic.
And Pat Fuller etc, etc, etc, had a go at the US media for its preoccupation with dear old Joe.

Back to domestic issues now and the Senator Fatima Payman show continued to bubble along this past week.
Amy Remeikis’s explanation on the ABC Insiders program as to why Payman didn’t pipe up at caucus meetings over her fiercely held views on the Israeli genocide in Gaza was given X air by Stranger….

…while some chap named Peter FitzSimons gave Remeikis (and stranger) a second bite of the cherry for her general putdown of LNP policies being promoted by Peter Dutton and co. at the moment.

And seeing we’ve mentioned Insiders, Glenn Gibson filled out the scoresheet for how that hour-long program panned out on Sunday.

As Glenn Gibson mentioned, Dutton’s playing of the race card by asserting that any future minority Labor government would have in it – shock horror! – Muslims from western Sydney! – sparked the attention of blakandblack and JayJay.

Van Badham channeled Ed Husic’s response to Dutton’s shock, horror … Muzzies in the west!

Devil’s Candidate had a wonderful line on Dutton’s personal strengths…

… and Phillip Riley also referenced the UK election to have some fun with the Duddsmeister.

TOMORROW: More on the UK general election and general political guff in Oz and the usual hits at our lamentable rightwing mediocre.
