A sensational new star on the stand-up comedy circuit emerged at this week’s News Crap Australia’s in-house awards night.
The annual event recognising the work of News Crap staffers, often referred to as the Brownnose Medals, is usually a stuffy and self-important affair.
But head honcho of the media conglomerate, Lachlan Murdoch, lightened the mood at the Sydney event with his string of zingers and one-liners that had the audience in stitches.
