Joyce to the world!

We at The Bug – and especially our judges of the tweets of the week – have never, ever, kicked people when they are down.

To do that lacks class or style or any semblance of empathetic decenc….oh, who the fuck are we trying to kid! – this week’s tweets are centred entirely on wonderful memes and images of two former roosters who are now feather dusters.

Oh, who are we really trying to kid. The Liar from the Shire and the Beetrooter during the first sittings of the 47th Parliament didn’t look at all like feather dusters. They were used condoms in a city park. They had been cocks of the walk, they’d had their spray and now their emissions were of no import or effectiveness whatsoever.

Any one of these memes could have won our coveted tweet of the week award but we chose a simple idea from Roger user of oxygen @RogerBoybeagles above.

Taking more time to do justice to the Beetrooter’s contribution to the second week of the sittings were Warwick Sharples @wok6808 and some smartarse by the name of Shaun Micalleff @shaunmicallef who must be some form of art historian wanker.

Keeping it rather simple was leevardi @leevardi. It never fails indeed…

Of course, the focus was also on the Beetrooter’s former boss Scott Morrison and Comrade Anti-Fascist @waynethomasking and Peter Murphy @PeterWMurphy1 found some images to sum up Smoko’s place in the world right now.

We also had a chuckle over this effort from our regular contributors marqueelawyers @marquelawyers with their own preview of an upcoming movie.

This woeful bunch of losers was actually up the back of the government side of the house – have a good look, fellas; hopefully you won’t be seeing it again for a very long time – when voting on an amendment from The Greens demanding zero net emissions by a decade ago and one opposed by the two main parties.

And, finally, some more art history kulture from a great favourite of ours, the one and only Ronni Salt @RonniSalt…..
