STANDUP COMEDY SENSATION:

When The Bug read James Massola’s analysis in The Sun-Herald of Scott Morrison’s chances at the looming federal election, we did two things.

Firstly, we made sure we weren’t reading a Newscorpse Australia publication. We weren’t but it’s hard to tell the difference any more.

Secondly, we realised the man’s a natural comic so we booked out an intimate venue in Rooty Hill and begged James to try out his material in a public space. Okay, we provided a few of the gags but the opening and the end are all his own work!

What can we say? the man’s a natural standup so our advice to Dave Hughes, Jimeon, Carl Barron, Wil Anderson … WATCH YOUR BACKS!
