FEDERAL POLITICS:
A despondent Angus Taylor is considering quitting politics after spending an entire day in which neither he nor his family were accused of profiting personally from his holding of senior ministerial office.
The newly appointed Minister for Energy and Emissions Reduction in the recently re-elected Morrison government was made aware of the scandal early this morning by his closest advisers.
Minister Taylor is pictured (at top and right) indulging in his spare-time hobby of waterspotting.
The Bug understands the minister is blaming a migraine that came on suddenly on Sunday morning for the “regrettable situation” that unfolded for the rest of the day.
“Nevertheless, the minister knows he has let down both his immediate and extended families and is considering his position,” one of Mr Taylor’s media staff said.
