Federal Government Assistant Minister for Roads, Scott Buchholz, has once again apologised for “inappropriate” actions towards a female Defence officer during a military exchange program in Darwin.
“I acted like a complete idiot,” Buchholz said in a media release this morning.
“I apologise unconditionally even if I must say I believe the Defence officer has possibly misunderstood what I saw as harmless if albeit affectionate actions towards a comrade at the end of a long training day together.
“I only wanted to hug her brains out,” the statement concluded.
