Tony Abbott issues clarion call

THE IRAN WAR:

Following the Albanese Government’s dismissal of his call for Australia to actively join the US and Israeli war against Iran, former prime minister Tony Abbott has revealed plans to raise and lead his own private battalion to fight in the Middle East conflict.

Speaking on the Liberal Party Tonight Show with Peta Credlin on Sky News (below) Mr Abbott mounted a lengthy attack on the “lily-livered, yellow-streaked, woke, lefty cowardice and treachery” of Prime Minister Anthony Albanese in not responding positively to President Donald Trump’s call for US allies to join the war effort.

Host Peta Credlin interrupted Mr Abbott’s tirade at one stage to stress that her role as host of the “after dark” program was to act as an objective interviewer before revealing that she had earlier sent Mr Albanese a white feather in the mail.

Mr Abbott said if Mr Albanese wouldn’t defend Australian interests by joining the Iran war, he would.

“I’ll shirtfront Iran. You bet you are. You bet I will,” he declared.

Mr Abbott – or Lieutenant Colonel Abbott as he insisted on being called – issued a call for his fellow patriotic Australians to enlist in his cause.

“I’m asking any fit Australian man – no women, of course – to sign up with my Fighting Budgie Smugglers so that we can set sail as soon as possible for Iran to fight and die for King and country.

“Yes, people will die make no mistake, because as you know shit happens,” he said.

Ms Credlin said she believed a battalion, requiring at least 500 troops, could easily be raised from among Liberal Party branch members across Australia alone.

“There are at least two or three hundred financial members of the party left across the nation, mostly men and white ones at that which is good, so if all of them join and bring a friend, the job is done,” she said.
