There have been numerous times over the decades that we at The Bug have had difficulty deciding which of our two award-winning* media review columns any particular issue deserves to be featured in.

Media Glass House, which as you can see above concentrates of the more serious mistakes perpetrated by this nation’s woeful mainstream mediocre and elsewhere as well, of course – and its less serious sibling Mediocre Bytes that dabbles in the smaller, sillier, errors where journalists can be forgiven seeing there’s fuck all in-house training any more. And so we come now today’s topic and we think you’ll agree it’s in the right place – the decision by the US in September last year to change the name of the Department of Defense to the Department of War, and naturally enough, the Secretary of Defense to the Secretary of War.

Do we have a problem with that? Of course we fucking well do. It’s disgusting to decent, normal, people anywhere aroind the globe so that let’s MAGA folk off the hook. And only two people with the combined IQ of a potato scallop – the Orange Oaf and Seth Pisshead – could have thought it a good idea.

But here’s our very large beef! Those two boofheads have dug their foxhole, so why should any media give them any cover at all by ignoring such war-like folly?

The ABC and Nine National News keep on calling Seth Pisshead the Secretary of Defense, even down to the US spelling in news strips. Ten News the other night called him out for what he is … the warmongering “we’ll hunt you cunts of dogs down and kill you all!” Secretary of War.

So a few outlets apart, is there any sound reason for media outlets to give them covering fire? A case of reporting inaccurately to mask their gross stupidity?

If The Orange Oaf somehow could change the US constitution and give himself a new official title of The Most Beloved Supreme Tangarine Tyrant, would a whole heap of news outlets decide instead to keep calling him the US President to somehow shield us all from the reality that he’s a demented moron with an overflowing diaper, the contents of which have more decency, more Christianity, more ethics, more truth to it than the rest of his bloated body, mind and soul combined.

* they’ve lasted longer than anyone thought!
