LOS ANGELES: Famed US movie studio Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer (MGM) has launched legal action against One Nation leader Senator Pauline Hanson.
Documents filed in the Federal Court of Australia show MGM is seeking an order to block Senator Hanson from establishing her own film-making business called NGM. (main picture)
The American entertainment conglomerate claims the NGM name is too similar to MGM and will cause market confusion while damaging its brand integrity and reputation.
Senator Hanson rejected the US company’s claim, saying she had moved earlier this week to establish NGM to help One Nation spread its core message to voters.
“I was very disturbed this week to see the so-called leaders of our nation gushing and fawning over members of the Iranian women’s soccer team,” she said.
“I saw the urgent need to combat the dangerously inclusive and tolerant messaging about these young Muslim women that has been pumped out by the woke left-wing media in this country regardless of the fact that they are probably Islamic terrorists.
“I just can’t believe that the Albanese Government has actively helped some of these terrorists to infiltrate our country just so that they can campaign for Sharia law according to their holy book, the Korean. [sic].
“That’s why I have moved to establish my own company, No Good Muslims or NGM, to make fillums [sic] about the need to maintain our nation’s racial integrity for white indigenous Aussies like me.
“So I will be fighting this legal action and I give fair warning that I am prepared to do whatever it takes to keep spreading One Nation’s message.
“If it means wearing a burqa into the Senate yet again to bring our nation together, I’ll do it,” she said. “And I know all of the MPs in my One Nation team including Barnaby Joyce (below) are prepared to do the same.”
