CANBERRA: Multi-award winning and much-loved ABC politics veteran scribe and analyst Patricia Karvelas has sensationally resigned this morning, ending decades of service to the national broadcaster.

Karvelas walked out of the ABC’s Canberra studios for the last time this morning (above) after resigning the moment she heard a money-hungry business type had trademarked the phrases “But Angus Taylor says” and “Angus Taylor says” and now had the legal right to charge anyone a significant fee for their use at any time from this point on.
