Why haven’t we ever invited Tanya Plibersek to try out as a stand-up comedian?
That was the question on everyone’s rum-flavoured lips at BUG HQ last night after watching the Social Services Minister’s short but very, very, funny appearance on Nine National News.
She’d be a natural using the short, sharp, material used on that bulletin so we quickly gave Tanya a call and she very kindly agreed to try out that and any other material at a nice little pub not far from Parliament House late last night.
And what can we say? Tanya had a small but appreciate crowd eating out of her hand from the get-go.
