Rodriguez makes counter offer

WASHINGTON, DC: Acting President of Venezuela, Delcy Rodriguez, has dashed to the US capital after news broke that Maria Corina Machado had handed her Nobel Peace Prize to US President Donald Trump.

President Trump has openly coveted a Nobel Prize and the Venezuelan opposition leader in exile, Ms Machado, has given him her award in a bid to secure the presidency of her nation following America’s abduction and detention of former leader Nicolas Maduro.

Ms Machado and Mr Trump (seen below with the multiple honours for achievement in the arts he bestowed upon himself when hosting what is now known as the Trump-Kennedy-Trump Far Right Centre Awards in December) met this morning at the White House where she later confirmed she had handed over her Nobel Prize to him.

The news prompted Acting President Rodriguez to board a Venezuelan Air Force jet and fly directly to Washington where she held a news conference outside the entrance to the West Wing of the White House (main picture).

There she explained she had brought with her “a unique gift” for President Trump.

“I am freely giving my triplet daughters to President Trump,” Ms Rodriguez said.

“They are able to live with him here at the White House or at Mar-a-Lago and he is free to do whatever he likes to … I mean, with them.

“They are free to shower him – if you know what I mean – with whatever he likes,” she said while winking knowingly at reporters.

“I am assured they are good girls … I mean, I know they are good girls because I bought them … I mean, I brought them up that way.

“Most importantly – and I know President Trump may be concerned about this given recent unrelated events – all three of them are of legal age.

“Two of the triplets definitely turned 18 some weeks ago and the third, coincidentally, tells me she has her 18th birthday today.”

It was not previously known that the unmarried 56-year-old Ms Rodriguez had any children.
