IS SATIRE DEAD?

Funny how these thinks work out. The Bug crew were standing around the bar fridge just last yesterday arvo and marvelling how long it had been since Facebook threw us in the naughty corner – or worse as you can see from above – for some breach of their rules.

And then bingo! Here’s what our Facebook site threw up at us around dusk…

and what our old mate Mark Zuckerberg explained more fully once we hit View Details.

We won’t bore you BUGgers out there with all the other panels we snared after pressing various links to try to find out just how we had breached Meta’s high-level rules against sexual, violent, profane or hateful content.

One link just opened our Bug site on Facebook and showed us the many posts we have uploaded over time. Maybe we were supposed to pick one and offer our heartfelt apologies for it?

Bur here’s the rub. We’re thinking of emailing our old mate, The Zuckster, and ask him whether action has also been taken against each and every Facebook post spreading the hateful, disgusting, violent shit that has poured freely from the mouths of Donald Trump, V.D Chance, other Cabinet morons, White House propaganda queen Karoline Leavitt and far too many toady, arse-sucking republican leaders all ignoring the video evidence while wilfully and callously destroying the reputation of that slain mother-of three in Minnesota.

Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem: “Renee Nicole Good was a “domestic terrorist” who had “been“stalking and impeding Immigration and Customs Enforcement(ICE) officers before using her car as a weapon to try to run down the agent who killed her”.

Noem’s deputy Tricia McLaughlin sang from the same political shit sheet: “One of these violent rioters weaponized her vehicle, attempting to run over our law enforcement officers in an attempt to kill them – an act of domestic terrorism”.

Then there was Trump to New York Times reporters on Wednesday night their time.: “She behaved horribly. And then she ran him over. She didn’t try to run him over. She ran him over”.

And this Truth Social post from Trump: “It is hard to believe he is alive, but [he] is now recovering in the hospital”. He must have pulled a hammie running after the dead woman’s vehicle to make sure he had had plugged her good.

Our chuck bucket at The Bug is overflowing so we won’t run some of VP Dunce’s disgusting bullshit about how America has ICE’s back and its members can fire away with immunity even if they may not be in Fifth Avenue.

So how about it, Mark Zuckerberg? Any action taken against these hateful liars who don’t blink an eyelid as they happily destroy a US citizen’s reputation as they strive to divide the left and right sections of US society with constant MAGA good; Democrats evil rhetorical bullshit.

No wonder the US of A is sending the world to hell in a hand basket. Have we ever seen a US administration so lacking in class and devoid of any of the basic human attributes?
