MEDIA NEWS:
SYDNEY: News Crap Australia columnists have wasted no time in attacking the replacement for Sabra Lane who on Christmas Eve announced she was moving on from her role hosting ABC Radio’s morning political program AM.
Ms Lane (main picture) has been AM host for the past nine years and today told listeners that she would undertake new challenges within the ABC next year after taking extended leave.
Within minutes of her announcement News Crap columnists and commentators launched attacks on her replacement.
“The new AM host is nothing more than a typical woke ABC left-wing radical prone to groupthink and their selection by the politburo that runs the national broadcaster proves why the ABC should be abolished or sold at a knockdown price or, better still, given to a large media organisation that knows the Right way to run a media company,” wrote columnist and Sky News after dark commentator, Peta Credlin. Another News Crap columnist and Sky News after dark host, Andrew Bolt (below) said: “The new host for AM is a typical ABC woke, groupthink, left-wing radical and their appointment by the workers’ collective that runs the national broadcaster shows why the ABC should be abolished or, better still, sold at a knockdown price or, even better, just given away to a large media organisation that knows the Right way to run a media company.”

A spokesperson for News Crap Australia issued a statement on behalf of longstanding critic of the ABC, columnist Gerard Henderson.
“Gerard cannot speak at the moment because he is busy undertaking his 24/7 monitoring duties of the national broadcaster (below) and is currently listening to a replay of last night’s Radio National music program Jazztrack Live to detect left-leaning comments,” the spokesperson said.

The statement issued on his behalf said: “The new host picked for Radio National’s AM program is yet another typical woke, left-wing, groupthinking radical and their selection by the Communists who head the national broadcaster shows why the ABC should be abolished, sold, or given for free to a large media organisation that knows the Right way to run a media company.”
The ABC is yet to announce a replacement for Ms Lane.
