Beach, pavilion rename sparks anger!

A decision by Waverley Council overnight to rename Bondi Beach has sparked widespread outrage and fierce opposition from both the First Nation and One Nation peoples.

The council that covers Sydney’s eastern seaboard and encompasses Bondi Junction, Bondi Beach, Bronte, Rose Bay and Tamarama voted unanimously last night 18-5 to rename the world-famous spot the Ahmed el-Ahmed Beach, in honor of the Sydney man who tackled and disarmed one of the two terrorist murderers.

But the council’s decision, commendable as it might be, was slammed by various First Nations groups, especially those representing the Gunditismare, Arrente and Noongar peoples.

“The name Bondi comes from the Aboriginal word Boondi which means water breaking over rocks. This historic connection with the world’s oldest surviving human grouping must never be forgotten,” those organisations said in a joint statement.

But the name change was also slammed for different reasons by Aunty Pauline, (pictured), the national leader of the White Indigenous One Nation tribe. Her mob, the Flakeandchips peoples of the Chickensalt region (Ipswich), a sub-section of the wider Lockyer Valley bodgieandwidges tribe, have for aeons if not decades offered a deep-sea mullet, large chips and a can of coke to other tribes at a very reasonable price in exchange for lubras and sheets of unused newsprint paper.

“It was bad enough when this world-famous beach was named in recognition of layabout, nomadic, dar … first nations people who in the 6000 years since God created the earth managed to build not one thing tourists would want to visit – but to honour a Muzzie is an absolute disgrace!”

“All migration should be stopped immediately,” Aunty Pauline added.
