WASHINGTON, DC: The White House has confirmed that it has rejected designs proposed by the US Mint for a range of coins to be issued next year marking America’s 250th birthday.
Presidential spokesperson, Karoline Leavitt, (below) said instead the Trump administration would substitute its own designs for new coins across all denominations.

Ms Leavitt this morning briefed members of the White House press pool on the new coins and released some samples of the approved designs. (main picture and below)

Before beginning her briefing, Ms Leavitt announced that henceforth she would not be using the title Presidential Press Secretary.
Instead, Ms Leavitt advised reporters, she should be addressed as Pressemitarbeiter Für Den Führer.
“The US Mint proposed a series of new coins to be issued in 2026 to mark the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States of America,” she said.
“The President has seen the designs and has rejected them as being too woke since they reflect far-left themes such as the abolition of slavery, civil rights, and women’s suffrage.
“Instead, he has ordered the Mint to strike new 2026 coins featuring some of his own inspirational quotes.
“These new coins will go into circulation on 6 January next year, the fifth anniversary of the massive, memorable, and incident-free peace protest President Trump led at the US Capitol.
“Because the new coins will include quotes from President Trump, the US Mint has also agreed to pay a small copyright royalty to the President’s private family company, the Trump Organisation, for each coin it makes in his image.
“It shouldn’t be much more than, say, 90% of each coin’s face value,” Ms Leavitt said before signalling for aides to release a dozen deliberately starved Alsatian dogs to clear the room of reporters before any questions could be asked.
