South Africa profits from Trump rebuke

IMMIGRATION:

PRETORIA: Six months after being the subject of a heated verbal ambush by Donald Trump in a White House meeting, South Africa’s President Cyril Ramaphosa is now singing the praises of his US counterpart.

In a May meeting in the Oval Office, Mr Ramaphosa was berated by President Trump who baselessly claimed that the South African government was inflicting “white genocide” on Afrikaner farmers. (below)

The Trump administration continues to politically exploit the issue of immigration into the US by people of colour and has demonised those entering its borders seeking to be recognised as refugees.

At the same time it is openly embracing and encouraging Afrikaner farmers and their families to enter the USA as refugees “escaping” the “oppressive” South African government. (below)

In a news conference today, Mr Ramaphosa (main picture) announced that as a result of the Trump policy, South Africa had been daily losing a considerable number of hardcore racists to the US.

“Our analysis shows a dramatic loss of more and more Afrikaner racists each and every day as they flee a South Africa that no longer imposes apartheid and flock to a more welcoming USA under President Trump,” he said.

“In fact our projections suggest that if the trend continues, in a few years not only will we have no hardline racists resident in our nation, but we may experience a racist deficit.

“We may actually need to start campaigns in overseas markets to begin attracting and importing racists, most readily from Australia which I am told has plenty to spare.

“We couldn’t have reached this position without the help of President Trump.

“So thank you President Trump for helping to make South Africa great again,” Mr Ramaphosa said.
