Chances of returning to power?

PROBABLY LESS THAN NET ZERO!

Sure, our Xcrements-of-the-Week judges love a good, defamatory meme. Ditto for a good personal, defamatory, put down, on politicians especially. A sexual reference is always a bonus in both genres.

But we sometimes also like to remind Xers dreaming of XOTW gory that we also are fond of xcretal ploppings that are short if not sweet. And it’s for this reason alone we’re highlighting two brief, but powerful, xcrements that plopped into our putrid prize barrel from bradpsychology and Terry Sweetman (at top and below).

bradpsychology’s reference to the LNP’s famous Big Swinging Dicks controversy of some years back almost tempted us to insert some of the BSD graphics we used at the time but we were almost banned permanently from Farcebook for that.

And Terry Sweetman also makes a very good and central point, one that Toilet Paper Australia was also keen to make.

It might already be obvious to youse BUGgers out there that this first well-gloved dip into our prize barrel is concentrating to the news over the weekend that the Liberals have joined the Nationals in dropping any net zero target and letting coal BURN! BABY! BURN!

So does such a decision mean electoral oblivion for the LNP as Julia Gilliard would say, moving forward.

Ronni Salt, Don Wilson and Sue Roberts, in conversation with Everard Compton, seem to think so…

Perhaps not hinting at oblivion and a once-proud party’s demise, Tony Shepherd, cmdibley, normboy562, etc, etc, and Mark most likely think the same but opened their bum gates in their own desired way.

… and this will be the first and last time we’ll be using Izaskun Astoreka Lizarralde unless they change their X handle to something nice and short!

Oh, let’s run with one off-topic contribution from Tony Windsor!
