ABC TV has been urged to check on the health and wellbeing of one of the semi-regular panellists appearing on its Sunday morning political discussion program Insiders.

A senior Brisbane psychiatrist, Dr Del Usion, said it was clear that Sydney Morning Herald political commentator James Massola “needs help” following his appearance on today’s program. (main picture)

“I watched today’s Insiders with horror, Dr Usion said. “Even from a distance and without an in-person consultation I could tell Mr Massola needs help.

“I had my suspicions some months ago when I saw his previous appearance on the show. (below)

“The studiously casual tousled hair, the trendy specs, and the groovy t-shirts with hip slogans all point to one diagnosis – the potentially virulent and life-limiting condition toddsampsonitis.

“I hope the ABC lives up to its duty of care and gets Mr Massola the help he clearly needs before this dreadful condition – afflicting mainly middle-aged men – takes its inevitable toll and makes him terminally embarrassing,” Dr Usion said.
