Teeing off with a shirty response!

So many important issues to highlight in this week’s Xcrements-of-the-Week – Israel’s non-cease fire in Gaza, ongoing stupidity from you-know-who on the world stage and the Nationals determined to keep the Coalition in opposition for a few more terms – but we thought we kick off with THAT T-SHIRT SCANDAL THAT SHOOK A NATION TO ITS VERY CORE!

Yes, Susssan Ley’s attempts to smear PM Albanese as anti-semite for wearing a music T-shirt certainly drew the attention of our XOTW judges, unable to avoid the stench of the mountain of excrement that plopped into our prize barrel on this one issue alone.

So much to choose from but our judges did like the vaguely specific meme mentioned as Blue Sphere in Space squeezed out their own thoughts on Ley’s confected outrage.

We at The Bug aren’t entirely convinced Ley’s T-shirt attack was some form of a diversion from other LNP woes but if it was, a diversion that just makes you look really fucking stupid and desperate is not a good idea in our humble view.

We’ll stick with the concept that Ley’s not very bright and kept up with her misdirected outrage after seeing Newscorpe get solidly behind her, as stranger and the Daily Telegraph itself pointed out.

T-Shirt-Gate, Sharri? Please share your upcoming standup dates, venues and times as we’re told you really do need to be seen live!

Those who thought Ley’s anti-semitic outburst was very damaging – to herself and no-one else really – were JayJay (and we did like Russell Drysdale’s creative addition), Amy Remeikis, Scott Phillips and Rod Lloyd.

We’d be here until Xmas is we ran all the X ideas for a T-shirt for Ley but here’s just a taste from David, Mister Bailey OAM and Simon Banks.

TO BE CONTINUED!
