Can The Firm survive this latest scandal!

CRISIS AT BUCKINGHAM PALACE:

The British Royal Family is facing its greatest crisis since the death of Princess Diana with totally unexpected but widespread support for axed Prince Andrew.

Late-night Tube passengers have been giving Mr Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor best wishes and heartfelt hugs after he was spotted living rough in an underground Tube passageway at Waterloo Station (above).

Mr Mountbatten-Windsor had reportedly hitchhiked east to London after being evicted from his humble Royal Lodge at Windsor Great Park and first set up his tent at Charring Cross station before being moved on by over-zealous authorities.

But he seemed humbled by the almost unanimous support he has been enjoying at Waterloo, with late night Tube travellers offering him their left-over Burger King meals, the aforementioned hugs and shouting heartfelt messages of support to the former prince before throwing loose change his way. And some bank notes too.

But he seemed relatively cheery, perhaps because his ex-wife but still good friend, former Duchess of York Ms Sarah Ferguson had set up her own tent just around the corner in an adjoining passageway and despite the foot traffic he could still hear her occasional sobs.

And Mr Mountbatten-Windsor could still manage, without raising a sweat, mind, a softy-spoken “phowar” whenever a young girl walked by.
