Beetrooter back in business!

You can’t keep a good man down on the pavement forever and that’s the reason this Xcrements-of-the-Week column is devoted entirely to Barnaby Joyce.

The member for New England is back in the headlines with his decision not to recontest the NSW rural seat and with rumours swirling around that he is being courted by Pauline Hanson as a possible recruit and maybe even one day the party’s leader!

Joyce has widely been regarded for a long time as Australia’s best lay-by politician and doesn’t he have the media clippings and video footage to prove it!

The former Deputy Prime Minister has shown off his lay-by skills beside a planter box, screaming obscenities into his mobile after a hectic day and night of branch meetings.

And before that, his lay-by skills were depicted in a brilliant photograph showing his desire to lay by his media lass. And since then, he’s done it at least twice!

Paying homage to that second lay-by shot, Keep it Real and Johnny (at top and below) proudly showed off some excellent memeary from a chap/chapette called Lea.

We’re not sure if both of these very funny memes are by this Lea but we’ll clarify and in the meanwhile simply say: “BEWDIFUL!’

Keeping the memes going – and plenty of them centred around the well-known propensity for Joyce to enjoy one final cleansing ale after a whole afternoon/evening of them were True News Weeky, Peter Murphy, we’ll call this next Xer flags and you’ll soon see why, and Tony Shepherd.

Taking a more general look at Joyce’s possible move to One Nation were Bee and Satansson with nautically themed memes….

.. while CaraMia200 shared a very rare image of Joyce kissing Gina Rinehart on the lips for a change.

.. and Rick with his own assessment of where all this might be going proved once again that words well directed are just as powerful and cutting as a laugh-out-loud meme!
