Today I can report that other US entertainment corporations are wisely taking a lead from how the Walt Disney Company has reacted quickly to threats by US President Donald Trump to continue pursuing his campaign against anyone who criticises him or his administration.
Veteran spokesperson for the entertainment group, Michael Mouse, now 97, (below) told me that the company has move swiftly to smooth relations with the Trump White House after the Disney-owned American ABC Television network had stupidly bowed to pressure and reinstated late-night talk show host Jimmy Kimmel after he was suspended for remarks he made in the wake of the shooting death of far-right internet influencer Charlie Kirk.

“We acknowledge that the President is not happy with Jiminy Crick…, I mean Jimmy Kimmel being back on the air,” Mr Mouse said.
“So we’re taking urgent action to have our group-wide output more closely reflect the President’s personal viewpoint.
“We took notice of his recent remarks at Charlie Kirk’s memorial service about the value he places on hate, and as a first step we are starting to rebrand, and even re-edit our back catalogue of movies.
“We’ve already re-cut, re-dubbed, and re-released the old Love Bug series of movies (main picture) so that Herbie the VW now chases down undocumented immigrants and kills them in hit-and-run crashes.
“We’re also very aware of the President’s views on DEI so we’re going through and burning the master prints of films like Pocahontas, Mulan, and Moana just to name a few.
“We’re even looking at re-cutting Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs to make it plain the little chaps didn’t get their jobs courtesy of any namby-pamby woke positive-discrimination scheme.
“We took the same approach with GI Jane, but sadly that one didn’t pass the anti-DEI muster so it’s toast – literally,” Mr Mouse said.
I can also report that other major entertainment corporations have started following Disney’s lead.
Universal Pictures is re-releasing its perennial favourite Love Actually as Hate Actually and the US version of the global franchise Love Island is being rebranded as Hate Island.
The popular TV show will also undergo a format change with its central premise switching from having couples fall in love with strangers to finding who among the male cast members can be the most toxic, malignant, ignorant and narcissistic oaf. (below)
