Well, he certainly should have, was the unanimous response of the compilers of this column on spying the online click-bait rubbish The Courier-Mail uploaded to X yesterday (above).
You can understand our compilers’ instant bout of cynicism, and not over the first bit that described some bloke who does Big Brother voiceovers a star.
The words underlined in red above and below were what got our team chuckling: the poor bastard’s psychological toll of losing everything when his Brisbane family home burnt down as they slept.

“Holly shit, I most definitely would have died!” one of the bitter, washed-up, old hacks who throw this column together.
“Holy shit, anyone who slept through that would have!” agreed another.
“You might have stood a chance if the house had only burned half way down,” reasoned another.
The MGH simply hopes that whoever penned this piece of shit is not a fucking journalist.
PS: The article that appeared in The Courier-Mail was harmless enough, even though it had a bit of the beat-up, tell someone who cares, this guy’s career is clearly in a slump and he needs the publicity feel about it. Oh, and it was a rental home, insurance wasn’t a problem and the smoke alarm went off and he and his family got out safely. And the fact that he can still smell smoke really does suggest he was not asleep as his house burned down.
