Both were commenting on Israel’s landclearing efforts in the West Bank for new illegal settler communities after residents of the main Christian village in the Palestinian area were convinced of the need to move closer to the Jordan River and take some swimming lessons on the way.

Dr Sheep Person Podge and Samira Mohyeddin also waded in, clearly unmoved by the fact that housing blocks can’t just be plonked on the top of olive trees and even the ones that could have been left standing would have spoilt the views of Israelis as they settled more of their historic and sacred lands.
