WASHINGTON DC: US President Donald Trump is still on a call to Russian President Vladimir Putin following the round-table discussion with Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky and other European leaders.

“The President did ring His Most Holy Excellency President Putin as promised right after today’s White House meeting on a possible ceasefire and end to the Ukraine-Russia war that Ukraine started on Sleepy Joe Biden’s orders,” a Trump spokesperson said.

“But the call got side-tracked when President Putin asked President Trump to once again explain his brilliant ‘weave’ technique he uses to avoid addressing the point of any particular issue when making a speech or under questioning.

“That took up a lot of time on the call so the ceasefire discussions didn’t get a look in, and for about the last hour the two of them have been cooing to each other about who should hang up first,” the spokesperson said.
