WASHINGTON DC: The Washington Police Department (WPD) says the focus of its current crackdown on crime in the US capital has shifted to efforts to apprehend a persistent offender it believes to be the biggest contributor to lawlessness.

A WPD spokesperson said all of the force’s resources were now being concentrated on locating and arresting the fugitive individual following numerous tip-offs from the public.

The spokesperson would not name the individual concerned until an arrest was made, other than to say the man was currently employed in a federal government job and lived in public housing.

“The WPD’s hotline has been inundated with calls from Washington citizens tipping us off to the existence of this particular individual,” the spokesperson said.

“We have already raided an address provided to us by many callers (main picture) but the offender was not at home and officers were told he was away somewhere playing golf.

“The callers to our crime hotline have said the person concerned has an appalling record of crimes and anti-social behaviour including consorting with known paedophile sex predator the late Jeffrey Epstein and has been accused by numerous women of sexual assault .

“The callers told us the offender has also previously been convicted on 34 counts of falsifying business records to illegally hide hush-money payments to a porn star.

“He has also been found guilty of 32 counts of mishandling or destroying national security and defence records.

“He has also conspired to overturn the 2020 election and in doing so incited a riot that cost the lives of numerous frontline officers and others.

“In addition he tried to overturn election results in Georgia, prompting charges under the  Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organisations Act – the law usually reserved for actions against people in the Mafia and other crime gangs.

“We have also received numerous calls detailing this individual’s corrupt use of his publicly funded position for personal benefit and for the corrupt benefit of his family including the demand for and receipt of bribes one of which was, believe it or, a Boeing 747,” the spokesperson said while shaking his head.

The WPD spokesperson said officers were also following up leads related to the man’s illegal trafficking of immigrants and were in contact with Interpol to investigate the individual for the role he was playing in aiding and abetting mass murder in the Gaza strip and West Bank.

“We have so many leads to work on that quite frankly it seems to be an overwhelming case against this person and we hope to locate and arrest him as soon as possible before he can do more damage to our city and nation, if not the world,” the spokesperson said.
