WASHINGTON DC: US President Donald Trump has released full details held by the US government on the so-called Epstein files.
Rupert Murdoch’s Fox News, broke the exclusive news of Mr Trump’s decision to release the Epstein files. (below)

Mr Trump said by declaring “case closed” on the Epstein files he was fulfilling a promise made during the 2024 presidential election campaign to his MAGA base.
“If they recall correctly, my very loyal, very wonderful MAGA supporters will remember that I repeatedly said in that campaign that if I was returned to the White House I would expose all the information being hidden by the deep state on the 1967 suicide of Brian Epstein, best known as the manager of UK pop band The Beatles in the 1960s,” Mr Trump said. “That was a solemn promise and today I am keeping that promise but, I must admit, in reality there is not much information to release.
“There are a handful of newspaper clippings held in the Library of Congress and a couple of very old black-and-white film clips of BBC TV interviews with Epstein filmed in the early 60s.
“But I am very pleased that all available information is now freely accessible to anyone who wants to see it.
“Most importantly, the files I have released prove that there is not and never has been any connection between me and Brian Epstein,” he said.
The Fox News network followed its exclusive story of the release of the Epstein files by suspending normal broadcast and repeatedly screening what appeared to be AI-generated footage of 6-year-old Barack Obama and Bill Clinton, then 21, and a 25-year-old Joe Biden entering the London townhouse of Brian Epstein on the night of 27 August 1967 and force feeding him several bottles of sleeping pills.
