Any signs of life in the Liberals?

With the 48th Australian Parliament kicking off today, our Xcrement-of-the-Week judges decided to highlight the offering from Peter FitzSimons (at top and below) seeing it neatly sums up the enormous task ahead of a shattered LNP Opposition as it tries to rise from the ashes of the May firestorm.

If dinosaurs such as Barnaby Joyce and Matt Canavan hold sway over the Nationals, the LNP coalition concept is fucking well dead, buried and cremated – well, that’s what we suggest FitzSimons is implying using more appropriate language. And with the Liberals virtually wiped out in our state capitals anyway, the Opposition’s future looks bleaker than Barnaby’s chances of whittling down his bar bill.

Eagle Sam, Ashley Greene and Lynie appear to agree…

Stephen Mayne and Sahar A turned their attention to last Saturday’s Tasmanian state poll where those dearheart Liberals are boasting of victory based on counting so far. Perhaps a trip to Specsavers is in order?

And let’s finish off with more xcrement tipped over the head of special envoy against any criticism of Israel, Jillian Segal.

Here are jen l w-w, Mike Carlton, Aaron Smith and Adam Houda.
