The report by the Albanese Government’s hand-picked antisemitism envoy, Jillian Segal, to be released today makes just one recommendation.

The Bug understands Ms Segal’s report will declare that ending the Israeli Government’s genocidal attacks and ethnic cleansing of Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank would see the immediate cessation of any behaviour that is now rightly or wrongly labelled as antisemitic in Australia.

In her stunningly simple report Ms Seagal says legitimate criticism of the Israeli Government’s blatantly genocidal actions was too often wrongly and deliberately labelled as antisemitism.

She goes on to say …… Oh, hang on. No, we take all that back.

Her report which has taken a year to draft actually recommends a predictably long list of actions ignoring the root cause of anti-Israel criticisms that are too often labelled as antisemitism, thereby diminishing efforts to tackle genuine antisemitism.
