The Bug regrets the earlier publication of a story, since deleted, which stated that Israel’s Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, had criticised US President Donald Trump for cutting off the seemingly endless supply of US-made weapons and military support to the Israel Defence Force.

The story was based on statements by Mr Netanyahu in an address to his nation (main picture) in which he said: “President Trump acted to deny the world’s most dangerous regime the world’s most dangerous weapons.”

Once The Bug became aware that Mr Netanyahu was referring to Iran and not Israel, the story was removed from our website.
