Palestinians feel for Netanyahu

GAZA CITY: Palestinians in what was once Gaza have rallied to support Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu following his emotional statements on the personal toll his wars against Hamas terrorists and now Iran are taking on him and his family.

During a news conference in front of an Israeli hospital hit by a missile fired from Iran, Netanyahu reportedly became emotional when discussing the personal toll his genocidal and war-mongering efforts have had on him and his family, including the need to postpone for the second time the wedding of one of his two sons. His comments, right on the back of countless Israelis screaming “War Crime!” over the Iranian strike, struck a chord across Gaza with numerous Palestinians declaring that they could relate to his plight.

Among them was Dr Alaa al-Najjar who lost her husband, Dr Hamdi al-Najjar, and nine of their 10 children as the result of an Israeli Defence Force airstrike on their home in southern Gaza on 23 May. (below)

“I too will miss the weddings of my children – nine of them in fact – and my husband will miss them too, so I can understand how Bibi feels, the poor thing,” Dr al-Najjar did not say so we’ll say it for her.

SYDNEY: NSW Ambulance says it is relieved that a triple-0 emergency call this morning turned out to be a false alarm.

A spokesperson for the service said a Surry Hills resident rang the emergency number and reported what was initially feared to be a mass outbreak of hypoxia – a condition that can be fatal when a loss of atmospheric pressure results in a huge drop in oxygen levels in a person’s bloodstream.

“Luckily it turned out to be a misunderstanding,” the spokesperson said. “The call actually came from within the newsroom of the Murdoch media’s national broadshit The Australian.

“The caller had seen the front page of today’s paper (below) about an Iranian missile hit on an Israeli hospital and was actually ringing to complain about the newspaper’s hypocrisy in never expressing the same outrage about Gaza hospitals being flattened by the Israeli Defence Force.

“So we dodged a bullet, unlike dozens of innocent Palestinians lining up for food in Gaza refugee centres being deliberately targeted and killed by the IDF after being deliberately starved by the Israeli Government,” the spokesperson said.

MELBOURNE: Federal opposition frontbencher, Victorian Senator James Paterson, is urging Prime Minister Anthony Albanese to fly to a meeting of NATO leaders in The Hague next week.

It is not yet known if US President Donald Trump will attend the NATO meeting or will sit it out to stay in Washington DC to focus on the wars in the Middle East.

At a news conference in Melbourne, Senator Paterson (below) appeared surprised when asked by reporters if his call for Mr Albanese to attend the NATO meeting might result in the PM finally securing a face-to-face meeting with the President.

“What? Trump might be there?” he said. “Fuck! I didn’t know that. I just want Albo to go to The Hague so I and others in the opposition can revive the ‘Airbus Albo’ nickname.”
